13 patch boat to a new zeepter 300...

Guten Tag Bruders

Also, meine europ bruder Geschenk , was wurden Sie kaufen?

Vielen Dank fur Iher Zeit und Freundschaft

Haych

Hi,

I would go with the big catch. The extra wideness is super cool for moving and carrying. I don't think that the fuel consumption is such a big deal, let's say it's 1l/h extra. That's 1,20€-1,40€. But the wider inner space is worth 5l or more.

Good friend of mine is using the BC and it's a very good piece of kit. Personally I prefer the raptor x-wide/extreme, but that's another story.

I'd say go with the big catch.

Regards,

JRC thank you for the reply.

Looking into it more and more I am also thinking the BC more strongly. However, reading your comment about the RAPTOR EXTREAME I had to dig deeper.

The Raptor extreme looks like a mean boat. Alot more added protection under it too. I would like fewer handles as this puts me off a bit though and the extra weight is somthing to look at from zeepter 60kg to Raptor 70kg. Would a 10hp still be ok with the added weight to 70kg?? nachdenklich

My perchase is going to be a life time perchase that I'm hoping to have for many many years to come. Both boats have good reviews, more reviews for zeepter but as it's a german (majority) forum I can see why. Deutscher Augenzwinkern

I'm intrigued, can you tell me why you would have the raptor over the BC please? Daumen hoch

Hey,

to be honest, I just ordered the raptor. But I am very surprised by the quality. Transom plate is fully.laminated and 4cm thick. This is all very heavy build, but we share the same opinion when it comes to handles... There are Bimini platforms + hundreds of D rings, it's just crazy...
But therefore there are protectionstrips all around the bottom and side of the tubes, brilliant.

I texted quite a bit with the raptor salesman and probably there will be a raptor cat-extreme without all the handles, bininiplates and d rings.

Till now the Zeepter will fit your belongings better.
It's a we'll build boat packs down a lot smaller than the extreme and 10hp should be enough for both.
Maybe you have to pack wisely to get the boats running real good, but you should go fast with both of them.
Just don't put yourself in a hurry if possible, try to get your hands on some boats.

The material won't last a lifetime, as far as I know raptor gives your 10 year warranty on the material. Don't know about Zeepter. But the service is excellent in both cases.

The Zeepter has a protective strip all around the sleeves bottom sided. Should be a very good option.
